CODIX Technology goes far beyond the limited tools based on restricted management of automatic procedures and fixed data structures and offers the
following key functions:
- Dynamic redefinition of case data for each profession and/or customer no matter the nature of the data to be processed or its evolution, CODIX Technology allows the systematic follow-up of customer's needs and ensures its smooth evolution.

- All data in the base or every profession-related object made up of basic items can be used in the rules of the CODIX Expert System and there is no restraint to supplement additional management or calculation rules, or a rule for allocation of cases to users, etc. That is to say that there are no limits to management, calculation, workflow or other rules subject of the Expert System processing.

- Every event entering the system (from keyboard input or from an interface with another system) is handled in real time by the Expert System. The Expert System meets users' expectations by saving them the repetitive tasks while enabling them to focus their efforts on more demanding cases requiring strong professional skills. Operational Managers will certainly notice the increased Productivity and Quality resulting from the application of CODIX technologies.

- either Java 'applets': application (Oracle IAS), Java text editor (CODIX), display tool for case integrated images (CODIX)

Software modules
The software part stands on one basic and several optional modules. All the tools a company uses for communication with its customers and partners are available: mail, fax, telephony, SMS. Our watchword: absolute integration of all functionalities.
Customization
Each system is customized according to each company specific needs. There are 3 customization levels:

Setting an Expert System unrestrained by the nature or number of its management rules - for case management, calculation, or case allocation as well as for the "texts" issued by the system (letters, mails, faxes). Customization is effected either by supplying a "Sample" Expert System meeting some of the client's specific needs, or through a wholesale tailoring of the Expert System.

- CODIX technology enables the handling of any information at both "involved parties" and "data pieces" levels. The large forms library available provides answers to most needs but can be as well tailored to meet customers specificities.

- In several cases, the standard data formats supplied by CODIX come up with the requirements for data exchange between iMX and the rest of the information system. A tailored "data injector" helps the iMX integration.
